Whether it be eggs to gather or stalls to muck, red-haired Annabelle is always busy on her family’s farm. In this, her debut picture book, Michaud presents a cast of characters with just enough individuality that the story is amply populated but not confusing. Neto’s colorful, digitally illustrated, quirky animals radiate happiness and big emotions.
